I love my crew-mates and I love the way that the game makes it feel like they are alive and doing things even when you are not around whether they're writing you emails, talking to each other whether on the Tempest or driving around in the Nomad, posting on the crew message board on the ship, and the fact that they are almost never in the same place twice is cool and makes me look for them to see what they're up to. It takes what's best about the first three games and melds them together into a beautiful open world adventure. It is a PROPER Mass Effect title and not a cheap spin-off. Lol.Īndromeda to me is a fantastic return to form for the Mass Effect Universe. I have so many wallpapers idk which one to use. Also, the game is a screenshot person's wet dream especially if you are able to use Nvidia Ansel which i've been using quite a lot. I would say that the first 10 hours felt laborious a little, but after things pick up really well and between driving the Nomad and doing the loyalty missions and the occasional task it's great fun. I am totally sucked into the game world right now. Can't believe I'd never noticed that before. That is very confusing to me how you can love the first three games and not feel compelled to play Andromeda. I have no idea how, but it does it when Steam is running.

I had a thought while typing, with you having said Steam, and I noticed Steam wasn't running. I realise it's probably a setting somewhere but all I can think of is somewhere in the game files themselves and I'm loathe to poke around in there without knowing what I should be looking for. It also doesn't matter if I'm using the Default/Gladiator/Blasto keymappings (standard and southpaw). The problem is very specifically Andromeda, and there's no settings in the game that help. It hasn't been unplugged since and it's the one that was working today. I picked up a wireless controller about a month ago, plugged it in, ceiling staring. Plug it in again to play, boom, constant ceiling-gazing. Stop playing game, unplug it for other reasons. I thought originally, maybe it was because the controllers had been unplugged between game times before.

Dragon Age: Inquisition handles just fine. If this was an issue again, would anyone know where I could start looking to fix it? But, I guess my original question still stands. I realised it might be easier to explain what I was talking about if I got something on YouTube about it, so I booted the game to take a clip. Hoping one of you might have an idea.Įdit: Okay, that's just weird. I'm assuming it's gotta be something in the controller settings of the game, but I wouldn't know where to start looking. It's just Andromeda that gets rendered unplayable. Move backwards, left, right, whatever, I always end up staring at the ceiling. It's not the controller itself, it works perfectly anywhere else (except Saints Row: The Third, and that's a different issue). I still move, but I'm moving staring at the ceiling. Since then every time I've tried to use a controller the left stick just moves the camera so I stare at the ceiling. First time I used the controller it was fine. I'd prefer to try the controller, but something's off with it. I've played Andromeda a few times (SP only, I'm crap at any sort of MP) and I usually use keyboard and mouse.
